Garlic Cream Pizza Sauce

Ingredients
1 ½ Tablespoons Butter
½ Tablespoons Olive Oil
6 cloves Garlic
½ cups of Heavy Cream
¼ cups of Whole Milk
¼ Teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
¼ cups Parmesan, Asiago, or Romano Cheese, grated
Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions
Toss the butter, olive oil, and garlic in a saucepan and heat over medium heat until the butter has melted. Turn the heat up to medium-high and add the milk and cream. Stir and heat until it comes to a boil. Add chili flakes and the hard cheese, continue stirring. Stir until sauce thickens. Set aside, stir occasionally as it cools it will further thicken. When you’re ready to make pizza, spread the sauce liberally on your dough.

My Thoughts
This is a delicious alternative to (ick!) canned white pizza sauce. This sauce is garlic-y with a hint of heat from the chili flakes (I use left over chili flake packets from delivery pizza). It is easy to make, and just as easy to consume.
